Life at St Johns’
St Johns’ House offers residents independent living within a caring environment and historical setting. The gardens are an important feature of the house – offering a relaxing outdoor space to enjoy.
Worries about cooking, cleaning, washing, ironing and gardening are all removed, as all these aspects are taken care of for you.
Home cooked food is an important part of each day at St Johns’ and meals are served in our 15th Century, panelled dining room. Many residents comment that eating together with other friends provides the company that people miss so much when living alone.
Early morning tea, breakfast, morning coffee, lunch, afternoon tea and supper are taken to provide the correct nutrition for each of the residents. St Johns’ also caters for people with individual dietary requirements.
Regular events and outings are arranged by the staff for anyone who wishes to join in. As with all aspects of life at St Johns’, taking part is a matter of personal choice.
